TMCT 2026 welcomes research that sits at the intersection of tourism, hospitality, and computing technologies, with a strong focus on how the sector is being transformed by AI, automation, data, immersive systems, and digital infrastructures.
Across the conference tracks, TMCT addresses eight core thematic areas: Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies in tourism operations and experiences; education, skills and research methods for a digitally transformed workforce; sustainability supported by smart systems and responsible digital innovation; tourism management and innovation, from planning and competitiveness to new experience design; a dedicated special line on Health Tourism (Call to Pitch by the Pestana Group); marketing, consumer behaviour and digital experience, including UX/AX and interactive platforms; psychology and human resources, examining how technology reshapes people, work and well-being; and law, ethics and regulation, covering privacy, governance, accountability, and responsible innovation in tourism and hospitality.
