You are invited to submit your abstract to the Tourism Management and Computing Technologies International Conference (TMCT 2026), taking place 2–7 November 2026 in Portimão, Algarve (Portugal). Abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee. If your abstract is accepted, the author(s) may proceed with conference registration.
After the conference, authors may be invited to submit a full paper for subsequent publication opportunities, in accordance with the relevant conference routes. Where applicable, accepted and registered abstracts will be included in the official conference proceedings.
Upon payment of the registration fee, your participation and presentation will be confirmed.
TMCT 2026 welcomes the submission of high-quality full papers reporting original and unpublished conceptual, methodological, empirical, experimental, and theoretical research aligned with the conference tracks and scope. Submission of a manuscript implies that it is not under consideration elsewhere and that all authors approve the submission.
Full Paper Reviewing Process
All full papers are subject to double-blind peer review and will be assessed against standards of novelty, academic rigour, methodological quality, clarity, and relevance. The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring co-author approval and for managing the submission process on behalf of the author team. TMCT and its partners cannot be held legally responsible for external claims related to submitted content.
Academic Ethics
TMCT requires strict compliance with academic integrity standards. Submissions must be original and properly referenced. Plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, or any form of academic misconduct will result in immediate rejection and may lead to further actions in line with conference policies.
Language
Manuscripts must be written in English. Either UK or US usage is acceptable, but authors should use one consistently throughout the paper. Authors are encouraged to use professional language-editing tools or services where needed to ensure clear scientific English.

Evaluation Criteria
All papers undergo double-blind peer review. Evaluation considers (among other factors) relevance to TMCT, originality, structure and clarity, methodological rigour, ethical compliance, language standard, contribution/innovativness, quality of references, and quality of results and discussion. Accepted papers will be included in the Conference Proceedings, according to the conference publication route.
Oral Presentation
Guidelines Oral presentations should be approximately 15 minutes, followed by discussion. Presenters may use any presentation format. Standard AV equipment will be available; please arrive early to ensure all technical requirements are in place.
Design your poster to be clear, easy to read, and visually engaging. Use concise text supported by visuals (figures, charts, diagrams) where appropriate. Place the title at the top, followed by the authors’ names and affiliations. Keep in mind that attendees may only have a short time to view your work, so structure your content for quick understanding.
Poster size must be A1 (international). All content, including the title, must fit within the A1 area and should not extend beyond the poster dimensions.
Posters must be printed on lightweight material suitable for mounting on poster boards. Please do not use foam core, rigid multi-layer materials, or pushpins directly on the boards. Ensure your poster can be attached using standard conference mounting materials.
All posters must be based on the accepted abstract reviewed by the Scientific Committee.
Please bring your printed poster with you to the conference.
